Family Travel Across the United States

The idea of a family goal has always appealed to me , so when I blurted out a few years ago that we should travel to all 50 states as a family, I had no idea of what I was getting us into.

So here we are 4 years later, with 36 states behind us. I thought this would be a good time to start sharing the experience. Keep in mind were a family of 5, with limited vacation time and resources so we have to make efficient use of time and money during our travels.

Most of the time we camp and travel with a couple of coolers with drinks and food so we don't have to buy every meal, and once in a while we splurge by eating at restaurants and staying at a hotels, especially on our Las Vegas vacations.

So feel free to read about the places your interested in vacationing, if your traveling with kids all the better, we will give you some money saving tips along the way and tell you what we really thought of our vacation.

Remember if your vacationing with kids, it's not really a vacation, it's just different work, but you can have fun and save a few dollars if you do it right, so don't worry there will be plenty of time to rest once you get back to work. Relax and enjoy the website.
